SIX people have been arrested after a series of coordinated raids in Oxford and other parts of the country.
At around 6.30am yesterday, Thames Valley Police officers carried out warrants for 16 addresses with the Metropolitan Police Service in Oxford, Lambeth, Croydon, Hillingdon and Uxbridge.
Those arrested are suspected of being members of a gang which committed at least seven robberies from security vans – including one in Cowley in April.
Police officers arrested five men and one woman, all in their 30s, who were last night in custody in a West London police station.
A quantity of cash has also been recovered.
