There was a major pipe burst in Cassington which let loose a torrent of water which turned the middle of the village into a raging river for many hours on friday night. A large number of properties were seriously flooded and significant damage has ruined xmas for many families. The fire brigade spent many hours pumping out water and Thames Water loss adjustors spent saturday in the village.
