A man appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday after £20,000 worth of cocaine and banned firearms were found during a raid.

Sean Flaherty, of Territorial Way, Headington, has been charged with possessing cocaine and MDMA — both class A drugs — with intent to supply.

The 31-year-old was also charged with possessing a shotgun without a certificate, a firearm less than 30cm long, a Taser, and an imitation gun.

Flaherty was remanded in custody and is expected to enter a plea on January 23.
