Man in court on Hythe Bridge Street towpath rape charge
A man has appeared in court charged with rape.
Salam Karis, of Alden Crescent, Headington, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday following an incident at a towpath near Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, involving a 19-year-old woman on January 19.
The 23-year-old was charged on Monday, January 20.
He was remanded in custody until April 7.
