A RENOWNED sculptor visited a Headington school to talk to pupils about some of his artistic creations.
Students yesterday went to a range of talks on Thursday, including a session on sculptures given by Martin Jennings.
Mr Jennings, the Oxford artist famous for the statue of poet John Betjeman at London St Pancras station, spoke about the 2.1m high sculpture in front of A-Level art students.
Sixth form student Sondos Mahdy, 17, from Headington, said: “We were allocated different talks and one of the talks was by Martin Jennings.
“It was really interesting and great for all the art students – the talk was really helpful.
“He talked us through the process of making different sculptures.”
