Marina Harries, 45, of Brome Place, Headington, Oxford, admitted stealing food worth £239 from a Co-op in Oxford on September 25. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Daniel Ryan, 26, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing meat worth £40 from a Co-op in Oxford on September 14. given a six-month conditional discharge and five other offences were taken into consideration.
Mark Knight, 38, of no fixed address, admitted assault by beating in East Hendred on December 25. Restraining order made barring contact with victim. Fined £260 and told to pay a £26 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Richard Markwell, 24, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Park End Street, Oxford, on August 23. Also admitted committing a further offence during the period of a suspended sentence made on May 24 by Oxford Magistrates’ Court for two counts of theft. Given a 12-week prison sentence because it was an unprovoked assault which resulted in the victim being unconscious.
Sean Wickson, 28, of Colwell Drive, Witney, admitted driving without insurance in Ruscote Avenue, Banbury, on August 26. Fined £240 and told to pay a £24 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
Mark Burnett, 32, of Tetsworth, near Thame, convicted of exceeded a temporary 40mph speed limit on the A40 at Holton on July 29. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Lee Christie, 40, of Crab Tree Close, Bloxham, near Banbury, admitted speeding in Banbury Road, Oxford, on August 1 at a speed exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Fined £60 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge. Given four points on driving licence.
Maria Carvalho, 30, of Southlawn, Witney, convicted of driving without insurance on the A40 near Witney on September 3. Fined £600 and told to pay a £65 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Nadeem Hussain, 34, of Reid Close, Banbury, convicted of using a mobile phone while driving in George Street, Banbury, on August 1. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Najat Ghaderi, 19, of Pipkin Way, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cowley Road, Oxford on January 8. Fined £80, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
Dion Keane, 37, of Brambling Way, Blackbird Leys, Oxford admitted being concerned in the production of Class B drug cannabis in Brambling Way, Blackbird Leys, Oxford on November 8. Fined £160, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
Snowy Snow, 65, of Speedwell Street, Oxford admitted possession of Class B drug cannabis in St Aldates police station, Oxford on December 19. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Karim Arif, 51, of Jackman Close, Abingdon admitted drink-driving in Stratton Way, Abingdon on January 9. Had 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £110, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
James Howkins, 29, of Preachers Lane, Oxford admitted stealing a suitcase containing items worth £423.50 at Oxford Train Station on May 5. Also admitted dishonestly receiving stolen goods namely two microphones, a scanner and a camera lens in Oxford on May 12. Sent to prison for 34 weeks.
Deborah Gilbert, 55, of Allnatt Avenue, Wallingford admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis when asked by police at Abingdon police station in Colwell Drive, Abingdon on December 21. Fined £500, a £50 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.
Christopher Crowshaw, 35, of Palmer Road, Faringdon, admitted theft of a £249 pedal cycle in Ship Street, Oxford on July 29. Community order made with supervision and drug rehabilitation requirements. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £150 costs.
Shehzad Khan, 31, of Fern Hill Road, Cowley, Oxford admitted possession of cannabis in Copse Lane, Headington, Oxford on November 17. Fined £50, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Kimberley Whitehead, 48, of Medlicott Drive, Abingdon, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis to police on Abingdon Road, Drayton, on November 8. Fined £90 and ordered to pay a victims’ surcharge of £20 and £150 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
Damian Davies, 22, of Barton Village Road, Headington, admitted causing criminal damage to a car bonnet and windscreen in Blandford Avenue, Oxford, on February 25, 2013, and failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 6 2014. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £325 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Sally Taylor, 36, of Rookery Court, Didcot, admitted drink driving, without a licence or insurance on Reeds Close, Wantage, on October 21. Had 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath over the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
Jordan Greenwood, 21, of Freelands Road, Oxford, admitted stealing alcohol worth £36.29 from Sainsbury’s in the Westgate Centre, Oxford, on January 14 and a £16 bottle of tequila from the same shop on January 12. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and £16 compensation for the tequila.
Aran Jaycock, 44, of Cuddesdon Road, Horspath, admitted harassing a man with repeated text messages and phone calls between June 17 and November 25, 2013. Given a community order with a four-month curfew between 8pm and 7am with a restraining order against the victim. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Daniel Brackett, 35, of Lucy Faithfull House, Speedwell Street, Oxford, was convicted of using threatening abusive or insulting words or behaviour designed to cause the victim to believe that violence would be used against him at Oxford Homeless Pathway centre on July 31. Given a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement under Thames Valley Probation for nine months. Ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
