IT takes a whole lot of breath to play the rauschpfeife, a giant woodwind instument at Oxford University’s Bates Collection.
But Sammy Ketland, four, from Edinburgh managed to play a convincing note at a half-term family activity day at the musical venue in St Aldates.
Sammy said: “I played on the trumpet and a triangle, but my favourite instument was the ukelele. I loved it. I play the trumpet all the time at home.”
His mother Blanca Fuentes took Sammy along to the collection on Monday and said: “It was a nice little outing and we really enjoyed it. It was a nice outing for a rainy day.”
The museum is open to visitors all week and will host family friendly sessions from 2pm to 5pm daily.
