Barristers and solicitors from Oxford are expected to take part in a nationwide walkout today to protest against planned cuts to legal aid.
It will be the second time the Criminal Bar Association has tried to bring the court system to a standstill over the reforms, with a half-day of action in January.
Today’s walkout will last all day and staff at Oxford Crown Court said most hearings have been listed as usual, but may have to be rescheduled.
