MOTORISTS were held-up in queues on Botley Road yesterday morning after a lorry caused a jam.
Witnesses said an HGV approached the railway bridge on its way in to the city at about 10.10am, but the driver realised his vehicle would not fit underneath and was unable to move forward.
The incident lead to traffic being backed up along the road.
Police were called and the road was cleared shortly afterwards.
