ONE lane of the A34 is closed after a deer was hit by a car.
Police were called to the Hinksey Hill Interchange at about 6.40am to reports of the collision between a vehicle and the deer, which was on the southbound carriageway.
Lane two has now been closed as police await animal welfare officers to attend and treat the animal.
Drivers should expect delays and there is congestion back to Botley.
