ANTIQUES and art have decorated Blenheim Palace as part of a prestigious fair.
This painting by artist Charles Neal was among the pieces up for sale at The Cotswolds Art and Dealers’ Association Fair.
The artwork shows Coln St Aldwyn in Gloucestershire.
David Glaisyer, owner of Astley House Fine Art, in Moreton-in-Marsh, said: “It is a very fine piece of art and he is our best selling artist.”
His wife Nannette, also a partner owner of gallery, said the fair was great for business.
She said: “It really is a prestigious thing. Plus the kudos it generates – you could not buy it.”
The fair was set up in The Orangery and Campaign Rooms at the Woodstock palace on Thursday and will run until tomorrow. For information visit thecada.org
