OXFORD’S High Street has re-opened after a collision between a cyclist and a bus shut the road earlier this evening.

The air ambulance was called to the scene following the accident involving a Stagecoach bus at about 5.20pm.

South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Michelle Archer said a male cyclist was treated at the scene for head and chest injuries and taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by road.
