Oxfordshire County Council agreed yesterday to include £59m of transport improvements around the county in its capital programme.
The schemes are part of the City Deal which was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg in February.
It was approved at a meeting of the county council’s cabinet at County Hall.
The plans include a new link road between the A40 and A44 at Loop Farm and additional lanes at the Hinksey Hill roundabout.
