A RACE with a difference took place at the Caterham F1 track.

School pupils wowed their families with their pedalling skills at the weekend.

The youngsters took part in an event to improve their cycling skills at the Leafield Technical Centre on Saturday.

The Oxford Times:

Organiser Kath Cochrane said: “The children from Leafield, Finstock, Wychwood and Ascott-under-Wychwood schools enjoyed fantastic weather and completed hundreds of laps of a 1km traffic free circuit.

“We expect the event to raise over £3,000 to support education in our schools.”

Six-year-old Maia Brewer, pictured, from Minster Lovell looked fetching in her bright pink helmet.

The Leafield Primary School pupil said: “It was brilliant.”
