A MOTORBIKE was stolen from a Bodicote stable after thieves cut a padlock with bolt croppers.

Between 10pm on Friday, May 23 and 7am on Saturday, May 24, they gained entry to the Goose Lane premises and stole a blue and white Yamaha 125cc scrambler.

Police, who have only just notified the public of the break-in, said it had gold handlebars and new Michelin tyres.

The force has appealed for witnesses.

Those with information should call the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
