The Plain
THE first road closure as part of works to improve the roundabout at The Plain in Oxford begins today.
Access to St Clement’s Street from the roundabout will be closed until February 1 as part of the £1.3m scheme.
A diversion route is planned along Cowley Road and Jeune Street to gain access to St Clement’s Street.
Oxford Bus Company’s X90 to London and its airport services to Heathrow and Gatwick will not be stopping at Speedwell Street or St Clement’s Street. Instead, they will pick up from the bus stop at the bottom of Headington Hill for London-bound services.
