Celebrated British furniture designer and maker ercol, has been designing and manufacturing quality furniture since 1920 when the company’s founder Lucian Ercolani first started the business.

More than 90 years later the company is still family owned and run by Ercolani’s grandson and it continues to create furniture designs with collections made with elm, ash, beech, oak and walnut.

ercol is synonymous with high quality timeless, pared down designs, combined with excellent functionality.

Designs are predominantly created by its talented in-house design team, however, ercol collaborate with upcoming and established British design talent to ensure the brand remains at the vanguard of great British furniture design.

ercol is much celebrated for its iconic mid-century furniture and today’s Originals range still boasts signature pieces that were first launched in that era.

In addition, ercol continues to introduce new collections to its core range that suit the demands of modern living and homes.

The current portfolio is extensive, offering quality designs for every room in the house - upholstery, dining, occasional, bedroom and home office furniture - combining visual appeal with functionality whilst ensuring consistent and uncompromised quality.

The ercol collections of sofas, armchairs and footstools are not only comfortable but these ranges are designed with the integral show wood elements which create their distinctive ercol identity.

Launched last year, the striking Triggiano collection is a contemporary modular sofa collection that offers a wide selection of pieces. Smooth splayed curved arms made of solid oak give the range its ercol identity. Deep cushions and quality foam interiors ensure complete comfort. Triggiano’s versatility makes it ideal for large and smaller homes alike and a choice of twenty woven fabrics.

ercol specialises in hard woods, which not only look beautiful but are hard wearing and practical. Other established ranges include the popular Windsor collection made of ash the range comes in a choice of three different wood stains, from a clear finish that seals and protects the wood to rich mid tone stains which bring out the full beauty of the grain.

The modern Bosco dining range with finger joint detailing combines traditional construction methods with contemporary styling. Made from pale oak, finished in clear lacquer to let the beauty of the timber shine through.

Recently launched the ercol Teramo bedroom collection is a relaxed modern range made of oak, the spindle headboard of the bed has shapes that reflect ercol’s design heritage of Windsor chairs.

Offering a wide breadth of furniture, the ercol collections offer something for every style of home.
