REVELLERS raised a cup of cheer sampling dozens of real ales and beers while music rang out over Didcot this weekend.

Hundreds of people packed into the Cornerstone meadow for the seventh annual Beer and Music Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Visitors could toast each other with glasses filled with a selection of 25 real ales, beers and ciders while listening to live music at the Cornerstone Art Centre’s own Pyramid Stage.

Tucking into a burger from the barbecue was Laura Martin, 9, from Abingdon.

The Dunmore Primary School pupil said: “The event is really big and the singers have really good voices.

“I really enjoyed my burger.”

Her dad Darren, was drinking a pint of Bombshell while mum Kate had a glass of Tutts Clump cider. Mr Martin said: “The beer is exceptionally nice in the semi-sun listening to the beautiful music.”

Taking to the stage on Saturday were acoustic singer Sarah Fell on her guitar and Osito, made up of Ellie Williams and Dave Ankers.

Other performers included The White Horse Whisperers, Dreaming Spires, The Beard of Destiny, Moogieman and the Masochists, Andy Robbins and Dubweiser.
