IT’S enough to make you dash for the toilet.
Commuters travelling from the new Oxford Parkway station will have an extra reason to use the train’s facilities and experience one of the city’s most beautiful settings.
Operators Chiltern Railways have based the design for the new toilets, known as “inspiration stations”, on views of the city’s Botanic Garden.
The company ran a competition asking passengers to vote on what Oxfordshire “hidden gem” should feature in the space .
Chiltern Railways director Thomas Ableman said: “The acquisition of these trains will create a comfortable and modern space on a par with our popular mainline intercity trains as we launch our new service from Oxford Parkway to London.”
Services from the new station are Kidlington are due to start running on October 26.
