A jury will continue its deliberations at 11.30am on Monday about whether a father murdered his son by violently shaking him.
Jordan Saxton denies killing his 11-week-old son Jayden during a fit of frustration at their home in Untons Place, Faringdon, on Sunday, November 16, last year.
Oxford Crown Court heard that 22-year-old Saxton raised the alarm after the infant stopped breathing and his son was rushed to hospital, but died two days later.
The jury panel of six men and six women were sent out to begin their deliberations yesterday morning, but were sent home for the weekend after eight-and-a-half hours of discussions.
