Aleksejs Kolosovs, 28, of Willow Drive, Bicester, convicted of failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis at Banbury police station on June 28 in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. Also convicted of driving a vehicle without a valid test certificate and driving without insurance in Launton Road, Bicester, on the same date. Admitted failing to surrender to custody at Banbury magistrates’ court on August 3 and October 12. Fined a total of £750 and ordered to pay a £35 victims’ surcharge, £350 costs and a £520 criminal courts charge. Banned from holding a driving licence for three years.

Shaun McShane, 27, of The Moors, Kidlington, admitted being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle in Stanley Close, Yarnton, on September 11. Had 81 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £40 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 28 days.

Hayley Stout, 27, of Boxhedge Road West, Banbury, admitted stealing five DVDs worth £50.95 from WH Smith in Banbury on September 29. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on October 16. Ordered to take part in rehabilitation activity for a maximum of 20 days and to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge, £40 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge.

Mohammad Ghaffar, 20, of The Grates, Oxford, admitted speeding at 73mph in a 30mph zone in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on December 24. Fined £75 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for four months, 14 days.

Algimantas Kubilius, 49, of Ferriston, Banbury, convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence between April 4 and May 2. Fined £150 and driving licence endorsed with six points.

Also admitted committing a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence.
