Film star George Clooney has toned down covers for CCTV cameras at his South Oxfordshire mansion after residents complained.
People living near the £10m home in Sonning he shares with wife Amal complained that the white covers of the cameras were unsightly and spoilt the views.
Mr Clooney bought Mill House with his wife in October 2014 and building work is continuing.
South Oxfordshire District Council vice-chairman Paul Harrison said concerns were first raised by Eye and Dunsden Parish Council.
He added: "The covers were bright white - a bit like the colour you might use for skirting boards and residents said they spoilt the view and were too prominent on this beautiful stretch of the river.
"District council officers had not specified what colour the covers should be so Mr Clooney had no obligation to change them but he has now changed them to a dark green which fits in with the foliage, so it's much less obtrusive.
"We are grateful to the Clooneys for agreeing to this request."
