Westgate works cause 30-minute rush hour hold-ups
WESTGATE Centre roadworks are causing a headache for motorists for a second day with lengthy delays reported this morning.
Temporary traffic lights next to the construction site at Oxpens Road have reduced the road to a single lane, causing long queues in both directions, stretching down Abingdon Road and Botley Road.
Commuters reported long delays during the early morning rush hour.
Yesterday, there were delays of more than 30 minutes for motorists.
