AMERICAN burger chain Five Guys could be coming to Oxford later this year.
The firm, which began as a single restaurant in Virginia in 1986, wants to move into Magdalen Street next to the Odeon cinema and the former Lola Lo unit.
A change of use application has been lodged with Oxford City Council to convert the Jaeger designer clothing shop and make use of the entire ground floor unit.
Readers have reacted with excitement to the announcement, with hundreds of shares on Facebook and dozens of tweets.
