A MAN in his 30s has been taken to hospital after reportedly being hit by a bus in Cowley Road.
The road was closed for more than half an hour this afternoon as paramedics treated the man near its junction with Jeune Street.
South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Michelle Campbell confirmed he was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Stagecoach Oxford described it as a 'major road incident' and that its buses will divert from The Plain to Cowley Centre via Iffley Road.
South Central Ambulance Service said it was called shortly before 2pm to reports of a man colliding with a bus.
The road has now reopened and buses are back to their normal routes.
