A CLIFTON Hampden bridge will be closed for 12 days following a cattle trailer crash.
From Monday, September 18 the Clifton Hampden Bridge will be closed as repairs are made to the brickwork.
It comes after a cattle trailer with animals on board became detached and crashed into one of the parapets on the Long Wittenham side of the bridge in October last year.
An eight mile diversion will be in place via Appleford.
