FADED banners that had become ‘illegible’ are set to be replaced in Abingdon.
Abingdon County Hall Museum has applied for planning permission to replace mesh banners in Market Place, which once advertised the attraction.
It said in an application to Vale of White Horse District Council: “The banners have worn and faded to a state of illegibility.”
The banners would be of similar design, but a slightly darker colour due to complaints that the banners were illegible in sunlight.
