BURGLARS stole eight saxophones after breaking into an Oxford shop.
Police appealed for witnesses yesterday after the burglary in Marston early on Saturday morning.
The shop in Marston Road, which police did not name, was targeted at about 2.45am.
In an appeal, officers said they were called after ‘a loud bang was reported and the shop alarm was activated’.
The burglars also damaged several other saxophones during the raid.
