A PRIMARY school near Abingdon impressed inspectors with its ‘nurturing and inclusive’ atmosphere.
Dry Sandford Primary School, which teaches about 120 children, has maintained its previous Ofsted rating of ‘good’.
A report released by the education regulator this month said school leaders were ‘ambitious for the pupils and passionate to improve the quality of provision’.
Inspectors added: “Dry Sandford is a small rural school which offers a particularly nurturing and inclusive community atmosphere...Positive relationships between pupils and staff foster an aspirational culture in which pupils are keen to excel.”
