Many of the younger Royals have made a complete hash of marriage.
But that can't be said of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
Through thick and thin, they have stuck together, serving our country and the Commonwealth, and today celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary.
We join the nation in saying thanks and congratulations.
