In reply to Chris Boswell's letter about the celebration of Elvis Presley's death, No more, please (Oxford Mail, November 17), may I say that his music provides a great deal of pleasure to many people.
In these troubled times, we are constantly bombarded with bad news - paedophiles, rape, murders, gangland shootings, terrorism and child abductions.
However, the wonderful music of Elvis Presley offers an antidote to all the misery - long may fans enjoy his music for years to come.
