The mysterious artist of Mill Street has struck again with a festive-inspired billboard.

The mystery artist has been keeping locals both entertained and puzzled with ‘her’ creative and eye-catching images, which are placed in a billboard on Mill Street.

For more than a year the images have been appearing and have included a corgi wearing a black armband, Father Christmas wearing a mask and a dodo surrounded by yellow and blue eggs.

The designs, some with hashtags, keep appearing on the side of Pack and Send in Mill Street which runs south from Botley Road close to Oxford Railway Station.

Earlier this month, a simple photograph of the Botley Bridge underpass appeared – which may have been a nod to the repair works which were set to begin next month.

The start-date for works have since been scrapped and a new artwork has appeared in its place.

The new image is showcases a snow-covered Oxford with a small Santa sleigh being pulled by reindeer flying through the sky.

A member of staff at Pack and Send previously told the Oxford Mail that the company used to use the billboard for advertising but the adverts were often graffitied.

After they stopped using it, a resident on the street started creating fun images to put in the billboard instead.

They did not know the identity of the artist except to say, they know it is a woman.
