A man has been charged with child sexual offences in Banbury which occurred more than 20 years ago.
Bashiru Umar, 52, of no fixed abode, was charged on Monday, March 3, following an investigation by Thames Valley Police.
He was charged with one count of indecent assault against a child under the age of 16.

The charge is in connection with incidents which occurred between 2001 and 2003 in the Banbury area.
Umar appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and has been remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on May 2.
It follows a similar incident in February when a man, who was previously from Banbury, was jailed after he abused an under-age girl over a two-year period,
Spencer King was sentenced to nine years and six months to prison for nine child sex offences.
