A married man on a friend's stag party died after inhaling his own vomit, Oxford Coroner's Court heard.
Glenn Skett, 34, was found by his friend and roommate Martyn Cox unconscious in a bathroom at the Travelodge at Pear Tree, Oxford, on February 24, the morning after the stag party.
The court heard Mr Skett, a production manager of Burntwood, Staffordshire, had drunk between eight and 12 pints in eight hours.
Recording a narrative verdict yesterday, Coroner Nicholas Gardiner said a small abnormality in Mr Skett's heart, combined with the fact he had been drinking alcohol, could have caused an arrhythmic heart beat which would have led to vomiting.
