Wallingford Carnival organisers have announced the theme for this year’s event: We Can Be Heroes.
Taking to social media on Sunday (January 28), organisers shared a new poster for the event and revealed the theme to all.
The announcement post said: “We are thrilled to reveal the theme for this year’s Wallingford Carnival: We Can Be Heroes. We are also super excited to announce we will be collaborating with Wallingford Fire Station.

“Meantime get your thinking caps on for your carnival float, real life hero, super heroes, sporting heroes.”
Organisers confirmed more information would be announced in due course. The annual carnival is due to take place this year on Saturday, June 15.
Organisers are also inviting local stallholders and traders to be a part of the event with sponsorship or by joining in with a float, including pubs, clubs, groups, schools, businesses, musicians and individuals.
