TRAINS are being run at reduced speeds as a result of flooding across Oxfordshire.

The impacted trains are running between Banbury and Bicester North today (February 18).

Chiltern Railways has warned commuters that train services may be delayed by up to eight minutes.

Heavy flooding has caused several road closures across the county

A crash took place on the A34 earlier this morning due to vehicles 'aqua planning' from the flooding.

The key road was closed between the Marcham Interchange and Hinksey from around 8.15am in both directions.

A specialist team was called to clear the floodwater from the road as one lane remained closed in both directions until the A34 was fully reopened just before 2pm.
