Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been out and about taking photos of water.

That was this week's theme and lots of striking shots were sent in, with the River Thames, Oxford Canal and Port Meadow all featuring. 

Some of the water-filled scenes came from outside Oxfordshire - there were one or two taken in Scotland.

Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their pictures on the club's Facebook page.

A selection are chosen for the Oxford Mail and The Oxford Times and one photo is chosen as photo of the week.Oxford Mail:

One of the most striking shots this week was taken by camera club new member Jo Brown who was in right place at the right time to snap an otter in an Oxford lake.
