Three flood warnings remain in place for Oxfordshire as several areas of the county are saturated.

These are for the River Ray for Islip and from the Heath Bridge area.

The warning includes the Otmoor Basin and the River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave which is just across the border in Berkshire.

A total of 30 flood alerts are in place across the county.

Oxfordshire County Council has warned “there’s a rainy couple of days ahead” amid the flood warnings and alerts.

Some areas of Oxford hit by flooding are starting to return to normal.

Yesterday (Wednesday, February 28), Oxford City Council announced the towpath between Donnington Bridge and Folly Bridge is no longer flooded in Oxford.

The authority also revealed that water has reduced at Grandpont Towpath.

However, Fiddler's to Sidelings towpath remains flooded and the gates locked.

People are being urged not to enter flooded areas.
