Persistent rain over the weekend resulted in the postponement of all of Thame United's Saturday matches, with only Sunday's games managing to weather the storm.

On Saturday March 2, Thame United's First Team was scheduled to play Bedford Town at The Eryie Bedfordshire.

However, due to consistent rain on Thursday and Friday, the game was called off at 3pm as there was no sign of the weather letting up and no prospect of the pitch being playable on the afternoon.

Another game was, therefore, postponed, and a further fixture was forced to be rearranged.

Further washouts occurred within the Thame United reserves as the Thame United A, B, and C teams, all of which had their games postponed due to the weather conditions on Saturday.

Sunday, March 3, saw better luck for the players.

Thame came out on top, winning 3 - 0, helping them to maintain their lead at the top of the league.
