Oxfordshire's schools are once again encouraged to nominate talented students for the High Sheriff Young Engineer Awards.
The annual awards invite teachers to put forward students who excel in engineering, resistant materials, and design technology.
Winning students will receive £400, while their respective schools or colleges will earn £1,000.
Submissions must be in by Friday, April 5 at 5pm.
Executive chairman at Lucy Group and head of the judging panel, Richard Dick, said: "Young talent is critical to British industry, yet there is a scarcity of engineers, especially those with a digital understanding.
"This awards scheme is intended to enthuse STEM students and encourage them to consider a rewarding career in engineering where they can make a real difference in the world."
The top three students from each category will be invited to a ceremony where the High Sheriff of Oxfordshire will present the awards.
