Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been taking photos of nature.

That was our latest weekly theme and our photographer sent in a wide variety of stunning shots.

They sent in lots of photos of birds and other creatures including sheep and squirrels.

While some snappers focused on animals others captured different natural scenes including a rainbow.

We were inundated with nature photos so there were lots of images which could have been chosen as photo of the week.

In the end we chose Claire Chalk’s simple shot of sheep and lambs in a field.

The sheep are beautifully framed by the plants in the foreground and the trees in the background and it looks like the sheep have posed for the picture.

Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

The next theme is rivers and pathways in Oxfordshire.
