A DRIVER due to be sentenced for causing serious injury to a child after a crash in Carterton has been hospitalised.

Bridie Little, 33, was charged with count of causing serious injury by careless/inconsiderate driving on November 7, 2022, in Wycombe Road, Carterton.

She was driving a Ford Focus when she crashed, causing injury to a child who cannot be named for legal reasons.

The driver appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on February 15 where she pleaded guilty.

Little, of Carterton Mobile Park, Carterton, was due to be sentenced on Friday (March 15) at the same court but it was heard she has been hospitalised and was unable to attend.

The case has been adjourned until March 28.
