A PAINTER and decorator was found dead at a popular nature park in the city, an inquest has heard.

Ian Hill, 67, was found at Spindleberry Nature Park in Oxford on March 10.

A South Central Ambulance Service paramedic verified his death at 9.25am.

An inquest opening at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Thursday (March 21) heard that a medical cause of death has been given as hanging.

It was heard that Mr Hill, of Knights Road, Blackbird Leys, was a painter and decorator at the time of his death.

A full inquest date to establish the circumstances surrounding Mr Hills’s death will take place at the same court on July 2 at 2pm.
