THE first hearing for a man accused of wounding another in Banbury took place this week.
Benjamin Humphreys, 25, has been charged with one count of wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
It is alleged that on August 27 last year in Banbury, he had unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm upon Calum Herbert.

Humphreys, of Stratford Road, Drayton, appeared for his first hearing at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (March 26) but the case was deemed too serious to be dealt with it at the lower court.
It was heard that the case has now been sent to Oxford Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The case will take place at 10am on April 25.
Humphreys has been granted unconditional bail until that hearing.
