Bicester residents will have a chance to support wildlife at a session in Garth Park this weekend.

The Build a Bird Box session will take place from 9.30am to 12.30pm on March 30, giving people the chance to escape from their usual weekend routine and construct a haven for garden birds.

Three bookable 45-minute timeslots are available and everyone attending must reserve a slot via the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust website.

With limited family tickets per slot, people are being urged to act quickly.

All materials will be provided and children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.

There is no parking at the site but town centre car parks are available.

Assistance dogs are allowed, but the event is not wheelchair accessible.
