It is alleged that the incident took place on June 10 last year in Faringdon.

Rosum is accused of raping a woman when she did not consent, or he did not reasonably believe she was consenting.

The woman cannot be named for legal reasons.

The case was adjourned as it needed to be sent to Oxford Crown Court to be heard.

Rosum, of Patrick’s Orchard, Faringdon, is now due in the higher court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on May 16 at 10am.
