JUSTIN WHITE, 44, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a Class A  drug 0 heroin and crack cocaine, on March 6 this year in Banbury. He also pleaded guilty to going equipped for theft, namely a foiled lined bag, and one count of theft – on March 5 this year after stealing £225 of Blue Ray DVDs from HMV. He was given a community order to complete 12 months of drug rehabilitation treatment and five rehabilitation activity days. He was also prohibited from entering HMV for six months. There were no orders for costs.

LAURA CURTIS, 39, of Stonsfield, Witney, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Carterton on September 24 last year with 150 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks, and fined £673. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £269.

TONY PRESTON, 45, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to comply with the notifications of a sex offenders register on August 27 last year by failing to tell police within three days of a caution his name, date of birth and home address as well as failing to inform police on September 1 where he was every seven days if he has no permanent place of abode. He also pleaded guilty to three counts of theft – on September 23 he stole £707 of electrical items and fragrances from John Lewis, on September 1 he stole £176.25 of alcohol from Tesco, and on September 27 he stole £2,267 worth of sunglasses from John Lewis. He was jailed for 10 months and was ordered to pay £50 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

CAMERON MCNEILL, 30, of Boot Lane, Harwell, was found guilty to one count of assault by beating on May 27 last year in Didcot. He pleaded guilty to one count of criminal damage on the same day after damaging £587.40 of garden plants. He was fined £865 and ordered to pay £400 in compensation. There were court costs of £943 and a victim surcharge of £346.

WILLIAM STIRLING, 43, of Crown Street, Brentwood, pleaded guilty to one count of harassment on December 3 last year by attending an address of a woman in Oxford without her permission. He was given a 26-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months. He was also ordered to abstain from alcohol for 80 days, complete 30 days of a Building Better Relationships Programme and five rehabilitation activity days. A restraining order was also made. There were court costs of £300 and a victim surcharge of £154.
