Drivers are being warned to expect delays on the A40 between Oxford and Witney this morning following a series of accidents.
Seven accidents were reported on the road, including one on the Ducklington slip road at 7.50am.
Vicky Brandon, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police, said: “A woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for treatment by ambulance staff after her car spun on the ice.”
