Snow has hit Oxfordshire again with more than 200 schools shut today.
The county had missed the worst of the near-arctic conditions which had crippled certain parts of the country earlier this week.
But overnight up to six inches of snow fell over the county.
Parents were advised to listen to local radio stations, while a list will be put on this website as soon as is possible.
Drivers were warned to drive with extreme caution as conditions were said to be treacherous.
An Oxfordshire County Council spokesman said: "Gritters fitted with snowploughs operated through the night in Oxfordshire.
"However the consistent heavy snowfall meant that roads could not be totally cleared."
