Drivers were delayed by two accidents on the M40 in Oxfordshire this morning.
The first, involving a van and two cars, took place near junction seven for Thame on the southbound carriageway shortly after 7am.
The incident caused tailbacks to junction 8a at Oxford, but all lanes have been reopened and traffic is now flowing freely.
The second incident involving a lorry and a car happened about 7.30am on the northbound carriageway, between junction 8a for Oxford and junction nine for Bicester.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said paramedics had not been required to attend either accident.
